JR Real Estate is trying to convince The Prince William County Board Of Supervisors That Adding 170+ homes in Broad Run makes sense in one of the most pristine and historic sections of the county – the heavily forested paradise known as "Buckland." THIS LAND IS IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, so they need a long access road to get there. TO DO THIS they are proposing using residential lots which are subject to restrictive covenants in order to build it. If you believe in responsible growth, please email our leaders and say something like this "I am a resident of Prince William County (or of northwest Fauquier County) and strongly oppose JR Real Estate's plans to develop the Buckland Preserve in Broad Run, Virginia. The land contains sensitive ecological resources, such as the Broad Run tributary, that local residents like me rely on for good health. Additionally, neither Thoroughfare Road or Route 15 can safely accommodate the required increase in traffic. Finally, the lots that are being proposed for ingress and egress to Thoroughfare Road are Falkland Farm Estates Subdivision lots which are zoned for residences only."
